Many studio listening speakers and engineering speakers are active speakers, but don't think that active speaker is the synonym of your profession, because the common and commonly used computer speakers and Bluetooth speakers are actually active speakers.

Advantage 1: no need for later stage and simple system

One of the significant advantages of the active speaker speaker is that it can play songs without connecting the rear driver, and it is suitable for the friends who want to make the sound system simple. Only the player and the speaker can form a complete system.

Advantage 2: save space

In addition, the active speaker speaker does not need to be connected to the amplifier, so it can save a lot of space for placing equipment, which is quite suitable for CAS system or desktop sound system, which is quite popular in recent years.

Advantage 3: complete set, guaranteed sound quality

Passive speaker

Compared with the traditional active speaker speakers, most of them are bookshelf design. There are many kinds of passive speaker speakers, such as seat, bookshelf, satellite and so on.

Advantage 1: more flexibility in tuning

Due to the need to connect the amplifier drive, the sound bottom of the passive speaker speaker will be greatly affected by the connected equipment and the same wire, sometimes the same set of speakers will appear, and it is totally different to hear them from others and from yourself.
